Bertrand Flour is a numeric artist who had learnt engraving at École supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Nantes as well as painting at École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris before familiarising himself with new technologiesas soon as the ninetieswithin the Apple Computer France's Graphic studio.

His graphical universe is focused on the one hand on the human being he represents in a more or less abstract way through some Black images (cosmic) or White images (carnal), on the other about woman he ceaselessly represents under the guise of Aphrodite withto datemore than five thousand drawings. Bertrand Flour is also the author of a complete artwork about the Pensées of Blaise Pascal which he has realized in the past in partnership with the Musée national de Port-Royal des Champs and a monumental artwork consecrated to the Eleven of September dueat that time– to his numerous stays in United States. All that touch to our being in general fascinates him, that is why he connects the body and the spirit in each of his informatic artworks.
